Iran to deliver "Mesbah" air defence, anti cruise missile system in next days

Ahmad Vahidi today told Farsnews that large number of "Mesbah" air defence and anti cruse gun will be delivered to armed forces in next days.

He also said another air defence guns with good fire guidance has been produced too that will be delivered to armed forces .

He added large number of two other types of air defence guns will be delivered to armed forces in next days too.

به گزارش خبرگزاری فارس، سردار احمد وحیدی وزیر دفاع و پشتیبانی نیروهای مسلح با بیان اینکه توپ‌های ضدهوایی "مصباح" در حجم انبوه به نیروهای مسلح تحویل داده خواهد شد، اظهار داشت: این توپ‌ها ضدکروز و دارای نواخت بسیار بالا یعنی حدود چهار هزار گلوله در دقیقه است.

 

وزیر دفاع و پشتیبانی نیروهای مسلح ادامه داد: بخشی از دستاوردهای صنایع دفاعی در دهه فجر به نیروهای مربوطه تحویل داده شده است.

 

وحیدی تصریح کرد: توپ‌های ضدهوایی دیگری نیز با قدرت هدایت آتش خوب تولید شده است که به نیروهای مسلح تحویل خواهد شد.

 

وزیر دفاع و پشتیبانی نیروهای مسلح در پایان خاطرنشان کرد: دو نوع توپ ضدهوایی دیگر نیز به شکل انبوه در روزهای آینده به نیروهای مسلح تحویل می‌شود.

Personally I confused with his remarks about delivery of new air defence guns. I couldn't understand how many types of air defence guns have been mass produced and delivered to armed forces? two types? three types ? or four types?

I did a quick search and it seems that the system was already produced in May 2010. With the Samavat (35mm)and the Saeer (100 mm) Iran seems to have good anti-aircraft, smart gun capabilities but what it needs probably more right now is modern interceptors/missiles for high altitude.
