When i say SA-14, i mean both the QW-2 as well because there is no external difference. Though honestly, saying QW-2 is probably more accurate.

Any of the QW-2's/SA-14's could be either of those imported from their respective sellers, however it could also be the Misagh-2.

Actually the SA-14 and QW-2 are very very different missiles..the SA-14 is actually not very modern anymore today...its outperformed by both SA-16 and SA-18 today...and strangely the QW-2 was actually never deployed by the chinese they just tried to export it as vehicle-mounted system but it is largely identical the Russian SA-18 while Iran's Misagh-2 is identical to Chinese QW-1M

Hmm, you're correct with regard to the SA-14/QW-2. Just goes to show you that physical appearances can be decieving.

Also, the Misagh-1 is based off the QW-1, and the Misagh 2 is based on the QW-2. You can tell this by the type of battery used, the Misagh-1/QW-1 uses the cylinder, while the Misagh-2/QW-2 uses the one which has the ball like thing on it.

Ayyash,

The missile I have labeled as Misagh-2 is indeed the real Misagh-2 and isnt based on the QW-2..just as you said they have different batteries...the Misagh-1 has just a straight cylinder battery while the Misagh-2 has the same one with a extra extension as shown in the pics..Just like the QW-1M (the image of which I got on SinoDefence)..there has been much confusion over Iran's MANPADS for many years but you can do a google search for Misagh-2 and the Iranian media site talking about it shows the image I posted earlier...the MANPAD with the ball-shaped battery is either a Igla or QW-2 and not Misagh-2..

That pic is indeed a SA-7 Grail (which should be scrapped due to its poor performance!)....I've actually only heard of the Sahand-3 so perhaps there were no earlier versions? If they can skip from Toofan-2 to Toofan-5 why not here?

[That pic is indeed a SA-7 Grail]
1) Old version of Igla.
2) Can take out Hind in one hit.
2.1) Hind can release 20x Infrared Flairs. In one go. Then it is hit by Igla.
