Ghased 2 with the range of 50 km in mass production.  Ghased 3 with a 2000 lb warhead and 100 km range planned and will be produced soon. This bomb will have its own rocket engine

به‌همت متخصصان نيروي هوايي ارتش صورت مي‌گيرد؛
توليد نسل سوم بمب‌هاي‌ هوشمند "قاصد " با برد 100 كيلومتر
خبرگزاري فارس: معاون جهاد خودكفايي نيروي هوايي ارتش با اشاره به اهميت استفاده از بمب‌هاي هوشمند قاصد با سر جنگي 2هزار پوندي گفت: در نسل سوم اين بمب‌ها كه در دست طراحي و ساخت است، برد آنها به‌واسطه نصب موتور بر روي آن به 100 كيلومتر خواهد رسيد.

امير محمدرضا كارشكي معاون تحقيقات و جهاد خودكفايي نيروي هوايي ارتش در گفت‌وگو با خبرنگار دفاعي خبرگزاري فارس، با اشاره به توليد انبوه بمب‌هاي هوشمند و نقطه‌زن "قاصد " با سر جنگي دوهزار پوندي در اين نيرو، آن را از قوي‌ترين بمب‌هاي دنيا دانست و گفت: ما توانستيم در سال‌هاي آخر جنگ اقدام به ساخت اين بمب‌ها كنيم كه امروز به توليد انبوه رسيده و هيچ محدوديتي در بكارگيري آنها نداريم.

وي ادامه داد: نسل دوم اين بمب‌ها با برد بيش از 50 كيلومتر ساخته شده و مراحل آخر را پشت سر مي‌گذارد و به زودي نيز به توليد انبوه خواهد رسيد.

علاوه بر اين امير خلبان حسن شاه‌صفي فرمانده نيروي هوايي ارتش نيز در تاريخ سوم تيرماه 1388 در پايان رزمايش هوايي ميلاد نور ولايت از تست موفقيت‌آميز بمب‌هاي هوشمند قاصد 1 و 2 در اين رزمايش خبر داد و گفته بود: اين بمب‌ها مي‌توانند بدون نياز به كنترل خلبان، تا 40 كيلومتر پرواز كرده و به هدف مورد نظر اصابت كنند.

فرمانده نيروي هوايي ارتش همچنين در گفت‌وگو با خبرنگار دفاعي فارس در اسفندماه سال گذشته نيز با بيان اينكه بمب هوشمند و 2هزار پوندي قاصد 1عملياتي شده و با توليد انبوه، در اختيار نيروي هوايي قرار گرفته است، اظهار داشت: در يگان‌هايي كه به اين سلاح نياز داشته باشند از آن استفاده مي‌كنيم.

شاه‌صفي با اشاره به قابليت‌هاي مهمي چون قدرت تخريب و دقت عمل اين بمب‌ها از تست "قاصد 2 " با بردي بيشتر از نمونه اوليه آن خبر داده بود.

توليد نسل سوم اين بمب هوشمند دوهزار پوندي در آينده نزديك، خبر ديگري بود كه امير كارشكي معاون جهاد خودكفايي نهاجا به خبرگزاري فارس اعلام كرد.

كارشكي درخصوص ويژگي‌هاي نسل جديد اين بمب‌ها نيز گفت: نسل سوم بمب‌هاي هوشمند "قاصد "، مجهز به موتور بوده و برد آن به بيش از 100كيلومتر خواهد رسيد.

I think when they announce production, it means they have already are producing and have it.

There is no point of mentioning it unless its in production phase, which i believe is so and even more so.

What's odd is we still haven't seen the Ghased-2. But the Ghased-3 was seen on parade recently, being similar in appearance to the American AGM-130.

I would be willing to wager, the Ghased-2 is similar to the Ghased-3 but without the strap-on booster. More or less, the Ghased-2 could be similar to the GBU-15 (late models) which forms the basis of the AGM-130.

Just my thoughts.

Note what's being carried by the F-4 in the background poster of the Qassed 1. The missiles carried are short and have distinctive stabilizing fins that remind me of the Penguin or AS.XX missiles. I can't place it though, any ideas?

doesnt look like AGM-119 , the front seems alot more pointed and lengthened then AGM-119

who else other than the big ugly ...

no one wants to retire this aircraft from thier air forces . just 6 more years and F-4 phantom will be 60 year old ... i bet they would still be flying all around the world .

Yeah, I saw the F-4 picture in the background.  However they are just developing Qasid-3 and probably it won't be fielded for a few years.  There is no telling how much longer the F-4's will be operational.  This means that they are going to need a new bomb truck for this.  Something that might be a cross between and F-4 and Su-24, and could carry at least four Qasid-3's for medium range missions and two for longer range missions would not be bad.
