Is the prototype of the 5th generation of Saegheh finally built?

Any specs?

The one below the canted tail.
I highly doubt it is a rear warning radar, but i've been wrong many times before.

can u put some information about it?

There are five of them. The first one was built from scratch, the other 4 were either Azarashk or F-5Es converted into saeqehs. They're not intended for operations because only one of them has the ability to carry armament. Each of them have slight modifications which indicates that they are technology demonstrators or test beds. Some people also claim that it has fly by wire because of the addition of the second vertical tail.

The Azarashk is the name given to the F-5E reverse engineered and built in Iran, originally they intended on building 30, although for one reason or another the production was scaled back.

It has been suggested that the Saeqeh is a front for the Azarashk, because technically, reverse engineering the F-5E is illegal whereas the production of the Saeqeh isn't as it can be considered as a new plane.

Although i think that the Saeqeh is mostly for political purposes and a PR stunt and they also serve as a test bed for new technologies.

You would have to completely redesign the main fuseluge but yea you could fit One RD-33 back there...

Iran doesnt produce the RD-33 (which is the engine the MiG-29 uses) they would have to import them from Russia...which indeed was reported a year or two ago but no officials from Russia or Iran confirmed the story..just unreliable media sources so likely there was no purchase of engines and in this tense international climate its unlikely the Russians are going to sell Iran a large number of RD-33s (not to mention that Russian is very protective of its engine tech. )...Its quite possible Iran is capable of building the J85 but no one knows besides..the Saeghe is likely not meant to be an operational fighter anyway.

Iran Forms First Squadron of Home-Made Saeqeh Fighters

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Islamic Republic of Iran's Air Force has formed the first squadron of home-made Saeqeh (Thunderbolt) fighter jets, a senior Iranian air force commander announced on Wednesday.

"The squadron is the first fighter squadron equipped with fighters and equipments made inside the country," Lieutenant Commander of Army's Air Force for Operations General Seyed Mohammad Allavi told FNA, adding that the fighter jets are joint production of the Air Force and the Defense Ministry.

Allavi said all pilots have passed training courses inside the country, and called it an advantage for Iranian Air Force.

He also stated that that all the aircrafts have successfully passed such various tests as near water and low altitude flights and long-range targeting with real and training ammunitions.

The commander expressed the hope that the country would produce the forth and fifth generations of Saeqeh in the near future.

Asked about the squadron's mission, Allavi said, "The squadron is capable of detecting and confronting aggressive aircraft and enemy fighters."

He added that the squadron can effectively hit ground targets from any distance and can carry different types of rockets, bombs and machine guns.

In September, Iran displayed the first squadron of Saeqeh (Thunderbolt) fighter jets produced by its defense industries in an air show staged during military parades at the beginning of the Week of Sacred Defense, marking Iranians' sacrifices during the 8 years of Iraqi imposed war on Iran in 1980s.

By most standards it can range from 12-24 planes but the last time Iran announced this they only showed off 5 Saeghe..of which 4 had already been seen so perhaps they have a 6th plane ready to go?
