We don't have one because there isn't much that can go in that section, however you are the second person who has asked for it. If a few more people demand it then i think the Admins would put it up.

actually I have a lot of article that I want to share it, but in Persian, and due to many people can read in Farsi so not a big deal.

I'm conflicted about this.
There are already nice Islamic forums on which one can chat/talk and learn, etc: www.shiachat.com

yeap sure there are other forum with Islamic content, but why register in many forum, let us have small section in size of our self.
it is good that we see some Islamic content time to time here.

As the main religion of Iran, Islam is indeed an integral part of both our culture and history. That’s the case with all faiths that once were, or still are, practised in Iran.

Could I ask how old you are Amin?

I agree with Pasdar. Let's keep formal religious discussions out of IMF. If we have Islamic section we will probably have to add a Christian, Jeudaism, Shiiate and Sunni section, and so on.

Discussion about religion here can be problematic. Religions cannot be discussed with logic and thus better leave them to dedicated forums for such discussions.

Why? We have just one Christian and two Sunni members to the best of my knowledge

We could have a theology section for all religions, however i don't think that that many people are interested in it.

I agree with Catsoo. This is not a religious forum and as such it doesn't need a section sonly dedicated to the topic. But if members would like to discuss religious matters relevant to Iran they can do so in the Culture and History section.

No need to clutter the forum with even more non-military sections.

The reasons I don't want an Islamic board is because it would require more investment of time in this board to moderate it. Remember, we're talking about people's way of life and it's easy to step on someone's toes. So keeping it clean and straight requires more energy...That's why I'm against it... The few islamic topics we had on the previous IMF (in the cafe) led to pages of heated discussions...
