The Wikipedia article is mainly based on his own writings and speeches. There is really no debating his background and he has been quite open about it.

Personally I believe befriending him because he is the enemy of our enemy is short sighted.

False!

there is much more propaganda and false lines in it, but this is the very first one the documentary starts (after the opening scene). Its completely false and lacks facts;

Iranians are heterogeneous ethnic groups of people making up Iran, consisting of Arabs, Turks(Azeri), Turkimens, Kurds, Baluchs, Lurs etc and Persians..

When someone starts a documentary with such blatant ignorance, it turns me off from watching it and it pushes me to label it another subtle anti-islamic republic documentary.

I'm still going to watch it to see it's direction. But from the beginning it's clear.

Sometimes the translation is also off, changing the meaning of what is being said.

It's actually weird how subtle the propaganda is; they go to bam and say this city was registered under UNESCO world heritage list and today there is almost nothing left of it. Not mentioning the earthquake once. This would make someone who is ignorant of events think its due to neglect.

This seems to be the better documentaries that i can stand, but I always wonder why never once can western journalists make a documentary without having subtle propaganda in it. Maybe i look too much into it.

After watching it in full, it's much better than other documentaries. However there are subtle propaganda, but this could be because its geared towards western viewers who wouldn't understand any differently.

Bro not everybody understand the differed between Persian and Iranian. But it was a good documentary and I personally like this dude. The best part was his visit to Qom and I like the cleric and his way of thinking very much...

hahaha I can't help it, commenting like that on makes it more interesting. Like watching a movie with someone in a theater and everyone going 'shhhhh, just watch the movie' and you turn around and say it's my dad's theater bitch you shhhh..

It wasn't a bad documentary, but still a documentary should be informative and not make one more ignorant. When saying "Iranians are not arabs, they are persians'', it reeks. I personally have a huge problem with this because i know how racist the anti-islamic republic crowd are and normally those who make a comment like that, are anti-IR.

The mullah was interesting and it would be good to know what political block he is in.
