I have some videos and photos of ancient Persian armies that I would like to share. I am not quite so sure where is the location for this thread but temporarily I start in land Forces.

The Sassanian warrior armor is amazing, but It has several flaws I would have fixed. Then again, I would have fixed a lot of things looking back... but it's easy for us to say. For them it would have been the equivalent of us trying to fix current armor.

The most notable difference of this with a real Sassanid cataphract is that it doesn't have "horse's armor" called Bargostovan in Persian.
