Iran has cut its oil exports to six European countries in response to the European Union imposing sanctions against Tehran, reported Iranian television network Press TV.

Earlier Wednesday envoys from Greece, Italy, Spain, France, Portugal and Holland were called in to meet with Iranian foreign ministry officials.

Its good that Iran has flexed its muscle to demonstrate its power. A large number of people (even politicians) still don't understand that Iran has the upper hand.

They wished to be stronger together so they come up with EU, so now we attack their weakest part and soon all the EU will collapse...

The key countries are Spain, Greece and Italy. These countries recieve more from Iran than the others and they are the achilles heel of Europe.

As much as hate to see it happen to Greece but they went along with the sanctions too and they were helping the Zionist PIGs to stop the fotilla boats but this will trigger a regime change in Greece.

Spain is also in a very bad shape and this will seriously effect their economy which will hurt he EU over all.

Italy though I am really suprise Iran cut their oil to them too. The Oil being shipped toItaly was actually payment for contract work done by Italy and I didn't think they would cut that too. But either case Italy's economy is also in $h1t hole and this will break them whch will efffect the EU.

Final note, We are going to hear (by tomorrow) that Saudi Arabia will replace their short fall but the are 2 points to be said about this;
1) Saudi Oil has a diffrent grade oil than Iran so it is not that the EU countries who were buying Iranian oil can just replace it with Saudi Arabia, therefore they have to either buy it refined from Saudi Arabia (which they don't have that increased capacity) or they have to send it to other refinaries which refines Saudi Oil (which again most don't have the increased capacity).
2) Iran will probebly block Saudi Arabia selling extra oil because they will argue that they can not go over their quota set by OPEC.

Either case I am really happy and well done Iran. But sorry to my borthers in Europe. Your gas prices just went up.

This news cannot be BS. This kind of news with specific countries being named doesn't happen by accident.
This is a chess/political game that Iran is playing which is warning the EU that,, this will happen soon so the ball is at the EU court and they will give it till end of Feb for EU to do something.

This kind of leaks doesn't just happen in Iran.

Iran has cut oil export to France and Netherlands and has given an ultimatum to other four countries Italy, Spain, Greece and Portugal if they don't extend contracts of buying Iran's oil for two next years, Iran cuts oil export to those countries too.

France and Netherlands are insignificant buyers, so these are merely empty threats from Iran. A 20% decrease in its oil income is nothing it can manage, unfortunately.

Sounds about right. Cutting France and Netherlands is simply a warning to 4 main EU buyers, if they dont sign extension and guarantee the payment, they will be cut too.

I'm curious how much time Iran gave to decide, the faster it cuts them the better. The longer Iran waits, the less damage EU will receive.

Iranian budget was written this year assuming the price of oil to be 48 USD (not sure about exact number, but much lower than 100 USD). Considering that the prices of oil is 118 USD, it can manage it.

85$ if memory serves right, but yeah, 110-120$ oil prices, minus discount for China/India (10%?), and Iran is still making 100-110$ per barrel.

It was signed into law at 81.5$.

Previously it was 45$ and i'm assuming there is some surplus from that that have been saved for these sort of times. Also, the subsidies have been lifted, that takes a burden off the back of the government budget. Therefore Iran can easily sanction europe and not worry about the 20% of the oil, as there will be third party buyers else where anyway and if not all the mechanisms are in place that would not hinder Iran.

Even if they don't sanction these countries are are merely just stating it in this fashion and form, it will cause the price of oil to increase. Just the threat of cutting the oil supply to these countries causes oil traders to buy and therefore increases the price.

Even this news sends oil prices going up and up and up..Sometimes I wonder how EU leaders think..They don't use logic..Their people's interest come last and US/Israel's interest comes first..It's fair to say ALL EU politicians are US agents and take their marching orders from Washington..

This move plus the latest development in the nuclear field, is a telling blow to Washington..I think they should simple come to the negotiation table without precondition and negotiate in good faith...Their actions are pushing Iran towards the bomb..They need to smarten up and stop their stupid policies..

I am going to wait and see what will happen in the near future before give my opinion. What Iran did, cutting the oil export to France and Holland is better than doing nothing. They should do the same thing to other four countries. The time is now.

به گزارش الف، جمهوري اسلامي ايران از روز چهارشنبه (۲۶ بهمن، ۱۵ فوريه) صادرات نفت به کشورهاي هلند، اسپانيا، فرانسه، ايتاليا، يونان و پرتغال را قطع کرد.

اين تصميم ايران در جريان احضار روز چهارشنبه شش سفير اروپايی به وزارت امور خارجه ايران اعلام شد. به دنبال اين تصميم ايران، به مرز ۱۲۰ دلار در هر بشکه رسید.

پیش از این، احمد قلعه بانی، مدير عامل شرکت ملی نفت ايران، در اولتيماتوم خطاب به کشورهای اروپايی گفت: «يا همين حالا خريدتان را قطع کنيد و يا رابطه طولانی مدت خودتان با ايران را حفظ.»

رستم قاسمی، وزير نفت، نيز روز ۱۵ بهمن ماه از قطع صادرات نفت به کشورهايی خبر داد که اعلام کرده اند واردات نفت از ایران را تا شش ماه آینده قطع خواهند کرد.

علی لاريجانی،نيز در پاسخ به درخواست برخی از نمايندگان مجلس برای در دستور کار قرار دادن طرح دو فوريتی قطع صادرات نفت به اروپا گفته بود که «مجلس آماده قطع صادرات نفت به اروپاست.»

مدیركل غرب اروپای وزارت امور خارجه در خصوص عكس العمل سفرا در پایان دیدار صبح امروز با سفیران شش کشور اروپایی گفت: سفرا به این مساله اذعان داشتند كه تحریم ها دو طرف را دچار مشكل می كند. وی افزود: آنان این پیام ها را به پایتخت های خود منتقل خواهند كرد.

تاجیك اظهارداشت: دلایلی كه پشت تصمیمات اتحادیه اروپا مبنی بر تحریم ایران بود؛ غیر منطقی است. وی با بیان اینكه فعلا نفت ایران به كشورهای اروپایی قطع نشده است گفت: سعی كردیم در یك حركت جوانمردانه به مردم اروپا این پیام را برسانیم كه اگر از این ناحیه مشكلی متوجه آنان شود مسئولیت آن برعهده كشورهای اروپایی است.

همزمان خبر می رسد، با پایان رسیدن اختلافات جدید نفتی ایران و چین درباره نحوه فروش نفت خام، دستور توقف فروش نفت به دو کشور اروپایی از پکن صادر شد.

مهر در همین زمینه گزارش داده که دور جدید مذاکرات نفتی جمهوری اسلامی ایران و چین از اوایل هفته جاری با حضور یک هیئت عالی رتبه از مدیران و معاونان وزارت نفت و شرکت ملی نفت ایران در پکن آغاز شده است.

یک مقام مسئول در شرکت ملی نفت ایران در گفتگویی با اعلام اینکه اختلافات دو ماه گذشته ایران - چین برای صادرات نفت خام حل شده است، تاکید کرد: به زودی میزان حجم صادرات نفت خام ایران به این کشور آسیایی افزایش می یابد.

از ابتدای سال ۲۰۱۲ میلادی صادرات نفت خام ایران با کاهشی حدود ۲۰۰ تا ۲۵۰ هزار بشکه‌ای به چین همراه بود که پیش بینی می‌شود تا چند هفته آینده حجم فروش نفت به این کشور آسیایی به بیش از ۵۰۰ هزار بشکه در روز افزایش یابد.
