THe situation was 10000 times worst right after the  1979 revolution and during 8 years war with Iraq.  People had to line up to buy foods.  Iranians survived until today and made significant progresses.  Sure there are people who cursed the government because during the Shah time, situation was lots better in term of food.

The more the west is pinching the people of IRI, the better the people will be.  Sure the general people will suffer for next few years, but they will find better ways to survive and progress.

Can the West understand?

I've seen so many of these "feel good" articles by "think tanks" and "experts" convincing/assuring themselves about the utter destruction their sanctions are having on Iranians..They may be true, but most of it is gross exaggeration and meant for domestic political audience..What else do you expect them to say? That their sanctions are blunt and useless and make Obama look bad????

How often have we heard the US announce the mother of all sanctions against Iran meant to be the final blow to finish off Iran, only to come back the following year say the sanctions are not working?

There're is a growing number of  people living on food stamps in the US, and they're not even under sanctions..That is fact!!!

Do they really thinks fake Nikes will bring a 5000 years old country down?   :D  People will beg for Kelvin Klein underpants  :D :D

Why nobody counts the jobs which are existing because the sanctions? Iran probably wouldn't produce cars, planes, ships  if  everything freely accessible from abroad.
