The heavy transport trucks used by the Iranian military, ranging from the 1 1/4 ton to 5 ton and above class trucks, are among the most common forms of motorization used by the army for troop transport, material resupply, and heavy-equipment towing. Unfortunately, I have a abysmally difficult time trying to organize and classify all of them. So let's see what the "IMF cloud" can do about it. In part, I think some of the difficulty I have stems from the fact that there are multiple variants of the same truck (different beds, cabs, that sort of thing). Here's some Mercedes Benzs to start things off. Any and all corrections are encouraged because, as I mentioned, I really have no idea what I'm talking about.1) MB 9112) MB 19243) MB 26244) MB 2631
If Neynavah is withing the category of 5 ton truck, I will have to merge these two threads.catsoo
This image was taken during a visit by Gen. Pourdastan to the 30th ID garrison in Gorgan. Does anyone know what the vehicle on the left is? Also, I'm not sure what the MB to the right is. It's a 4x4, which rules out the 2624 or 2631, possibly a cab-over-engine 1924?[attach=1]

That "Shaher" 14.5 mm sniper looks impressive. Is it a indigenous design?
