I see something mentioned about an MLRS being fitted to an armored platform, I wonder if they're talking about this:
Yes, the article mentions that during the imposed war the army had five note worthy projects; Katusha on a tank chassis, Mobile observation tower, 4000 gallon water purification machine, Chemical weapons decontamination machine, and Document destroyer machine. Out of which, only the Water purification and the Document destroyer machine were approved for mass production!
The rest of article is basically about the innovations and new designs we're seeing posted here regularly such as simulators for helicopters, tanks, and paratroopers (vertical wind tunnel), as well as manufacturing different parts necessary for manufacturing and maintenance of helicopters as well as being self sufficient in satisfying all of the ground forces needs such as heavy drop parachutes, free fall and automatic parachute etc... , all terrain vehicles and different armored vehicles etc... and how much savings they're earning for the country compare to what the army would've paid if all these were to be imported instead.
Cheers.
