This isn't an exact copy of the MK 19.

1) Yep, pictures are attached. They're not direct copies, but they bear some external similarities to the US mk 19

2) check out my post on the subject here: http://thearkenstone.blogspot.com/2009/07/rpg-7-in-iran.html

Its pretty old and i've been meaning to update it, but its mostly accurate

I didn't know we produce .50 caliber rifles.

Is that based on the Steyr HS .50?

It's not made in Iran, that's pure Steyr Manlicher manufacturing.

I read that it was being manufactured in Iran, although we bought over 800 of them and so maybe there is no need to manufacture them ourselves.

Ayyash,

Are you sure that Styre is not manufactured n Iran? I clearly recall many times reading
that it was reverse engineered and is being manufactured in Iran.

The only place i ever heard it before was from the American right who was saying Iran was manufacturing it so they could give it to the Mahati Army.

1)Topic: Iran small arms =
2)Assault Rifles = substituted by mashin pistol, targeting red dot sight = infantry assault = special forces assault on millitary bunker with HE hand grenade (I have not seen HE hand grenades on picture list).
3)Anti Matter Rifles = anti infantry, long range.
4)RPG = anti armor infantry team.
5)Auto 40MM HE canon = next special forces weapon for bunker assault (nice :) it was on the picture).

Even I have heard many times that we produce Steyr locally.
