Do our SF guys do cold water training?

Do they train with any other countries?

Do they do HALO ?

Looking at someone "left left," ha ha, I love being Iranian.

Cold water training:

i have heard our special forces (don't know which one's, most likely mountain special forces which i do not know the proper terming for) have a training routine where they have to endure 24 hours of cold water, but i'm not sure about it.

There is a limit to our bodies ability to endure cold before hyperthermia kicks and the blood is diverted to the inside of the body, therefore less blood flow to the extremities causing necrosis (death of tissue).

The other trainings , no clue..

They are very covert and no one knows who is who, and what is what..

somehow i like how mysterious our special forces, intelligence and military are.

But this is all because of SEPAH, artesh, not that special in my opinion.. but if you ask anyone who has served time in artesh and SEPAH, they will tell you artesh demands more discipline, while SEPAH is more relaxed

Do they do HALO ?
Yep, this is the patch for those who have completed HALO training. Unfortunately I don't know anything about the required qualification or any history of the program. I've primarily seen this on paratroopers from the 65th brigade as well as a on a rare marine commando.

Vevak is like Savak?

Savak (Sazeman-e Ettelaat va Amniyat-e Keshvar) was established under shah, and Vevak (Vezarat-e Ettela'at va Amniyat-e Keshvar)  was established after the revolution.

But still, I think that the Quds force is more superior. For after all, most of their assignments are outside Iran's borders..

Quds is like CIA, but with more military muscle of it's own independent of irgc units... Members are selected not just for military skills, but language, looks, and ability to replicate and create forces quickly-such as the creation of Bosnian 5 th Corp in Bihac during Herzegovina war. Vevak is like FBI and when needed as brutal as CIA ,but is only internal. Artesh is large, powerful and formidable. Sepah is smaller, lighter and meant for fast deployment, quick penetration, enemy line disruption and asymmetrical warfare. Quds is not a superior special forces it's a covert, politico-military organization meant to perform different roles in different countries, but never inside Iran...and sorry can't give you a source

@Wisdom

Everything you say is absolutely correct, but still has Quds force better education and training. They even have their own secret budget that is not included in the regular budget.

One of their more remarkable missions was "Karbala provincial headquarters raid".
And still, they have not managed to linking The Quds force of the attack.

The most interesting thing is that they all talked good English and and also looked like westerners...

Training...Not in the sense you think of it...they speak many languages, may know how to decipher codes, kidnap people, kill, sharp shoot, but each individual is selected for their certain skills. A special forces unit does not need to be educated, multilingual or know the embassy protocol of a foreign nation, but they are skilled killers and usually much younger than Quds. Don't forget quds operatives are like CIA they are for life. Iran Speciil forces have better training in the strict sense...since each individual is able to sharp shoot, hand to hand,etc...

Their budget is secret so you do not know they are involved in what country...for example the 40 year war in Sri Lanka came to an end with lightning strikes against Tamil tigers...many contracts were secured by Iran before and after these victory...also Iran military and intwlligece officials were in Sri Lanka a few months prior. Same in Nicaragua were Iran and china want to build a canal to bypass panama...ask any one from northern costa rica and they tell you Iran is involved in aiding Nicaragua with military advisers

Some things should remain a secret like Qud's force.  Iranian special forces are the best units that Iran have. The photos that I seem though the years show a professional force
there can only be one
