Actually according to Jane's the Ra'ad-2 does have a maximum firing range 30km.

What am i talking about, there's an easy way to check this

http://modlex.ir/cgi-bin/store.pl/page=product.html/pid=MXF04-000090

MODLEX lists it as using the M185. Where they got it, that's anyones guess. Perhaps the Israelis, or maybe technical documentation from before the revolution, or maybe just good 'ol fashioned smuggling.

It's definitely propaganda, but it's still indicative of the fact that there are units with a high-degree of small-unit tactics.

Also, if you remember back a few months, these are the same guys who were instructors for the Basij, which for me indicates that not only are they regular SF/airborne troops, but they're also meant to maintain and act as a force-multiplier for guerrilla insurgencies. For instance, if Iran ever get's invaded, 1 company(or whatever) of these guys integrated with 1 battalion of Basij would have a far greater impact then 1 battalion of Basij off doing their thing and 1 company of these Pasdars off doing their thing.

At least that's how i interpret it.

Rifle. Mounted. RPG.

Who ever thought of that gets a a seal of approval. And that sniper rifle, Ayyash, Are you talking about the Steyr or the S 5.56?

Btw, the video was superb. It may be propaganda, but if I saw more of these, I'd be impressed.

Back blast...?
Probably a closed tube so instead of operating with the recoil-less principle of the RPG, it operates more like a traditional grenade launcher - perhaps it even has a reduced booster charge.
