Iranian Navy Threatening Azerbaijan?

Iranian naval vessels have conducted maneuvers close to the border with Azerbaijan, and high-ranking Turkish officials are visiting Baku as a show of force against Iran, according to a report in Regnum.ru.

The Regnum report cited the Azerbaijan opposition newspaper Yeni Musavat, which in turn cited eyewitnesses in the region of Astara, bordering Iran, as saying "six vessels of the Iranian navy forces had come close to the Azerbaijani state border for the second day. According to their observations, the Iranian vessels are involved in a series of manoeuvres as if it demonstrates threat to Azerbaijan." The alleged incursion comes at a time of increased tension between Iran and Azerbaijan, including Tehran's recall of its ambassador to Baku last week.
 
And Regnum's correspondent, citing a source in Baku "close to Turkish military circles in Baku," said that four top Turkish military commanders are visiting Azerbaijan in early June, including the heads of the army, navy and air force. "By this step, Turkey wants to explain Iran that it will not leave Azerbaijan alone," the source told Regnum.
 
Azerbaijan's state border service, however, denied the original report in Yeni Musavat, saying reports that Iranian warships were maneuvering were "baseless and provocative."

The Turks are using Azerbaijan as their proxy for territorial interests against the Iranian people.
They've learned well from the US and Israel, they will use proxy governments to do their dirty work while appearing innocent with halo and angel wings against any accusations. And this is a mutual interest of Turkey, Israel, and US for the immediate future, so they are only all too happy to help spread misinformation and propaganda together to Azeris.

Iran has done nothing to any of these nations, it has never expressed a desire to control the will of their people. It's really disheartening to see how opportunistic and two-faced some of these governments can be.

Regardless of the outcome, the Iranian people remain above such dirty tricks, they remain the most heroic of all factions.

If they mess with us, we simply retake over our territories in Southern azerbaijan and sea.

And for Turkey, what can they do against Iran? Send a general in Azerbaijan? For what? Crying?

Don't forget thaArmenians and Russians have already slapped and killed Turks for a while, Iran can do so easily too.

Turkey has no strategy and running around like headless chicken, it doesnt really understands its true potentials and not capitalising on its true friends. Iran is helping alevis kill muslims in syria by the 000's. no one is really an angel in this game

what have i said? I dont hate Iran. Actually i was a great supporter until when they showed their true faces. I dont have any allegiance with anyone including my own race but i am muslim first then i am indian by ethnicity.

What do you mean by settle the score with Armenia? Karabakh was always Armenian land until Soviet troops reassigned it to Azerbaijan in the 1920s. Then, in the 90s when Armenia asked for its land back, Azerbaijan began shelling Stepanakert (capital of Karabakh). You know how I know this is true?: because the first thing Armenia did upon liberating Karabakh is opening a HUMANITARIAN corridor for both the Azeri and Armenian populations living there.

Any further attempts to "settle the score" by Azerbaijan will result in them losing more land.
