Kerman, I see that your continuing your duty here.

Karabakh...First of all, its not only Karabakh being occupied, but 7 districts around it aswell wich was totally innhabited by Azeris. Bear in mind that actual Nagorno or Upper Karabakh are not connected to Armenia. Nagorno Karabakh itself was 30-40% Azeri before the war. Places like Shusha, Aghdam etc...were all dominant Azeri settlements.

So Armenians being the majority there cannot be a discussion.

Not only that its incorrect, but even the area now wich is between Nakhchivan and Azerbaijan proper was given to Armenians.

I don't understand why you guys think it is your land. It was never part of Azerbaijan, you only became a country in 1991 and from the first day of your independence, this land has belonged to Armenia.

Maybe you should go and learn history before talking like that. Azerbaijan as a country was first established in 1918. Also being the first ever Secular and Democratic Muslim country.

And Karabakh was part of that Republic (1918). Not only Karabakh, but the region now between Nakhchivan and Azerbaijan + areas north of Sevan lake. Wich were given to Armenians after Bolshevik invasion and are part of Armenia now.

Morover, Karabakh was part of Azerbaijan SSR aswell and after the 1991 independence, officially it was recognized as part of Azerbaijan Republic. Its officialy under occupation of Armenian armed forces.

Ok fine, you can say that Karabakh belonged to Azerbaijan in 1918, but i can also say that Azerbaijan belonged to Iran in 1812, so if you claim that Karabakh is yours you should also claim that Azerbiajan belongs to Iran. My point being, 1918 was a long time ago, i think you should learn to let go.

By the way, if Azerbaijan tries invading Armenia, you can be sure that Iran will be more than willing to teach your Zionist loving President a lesson.

Karabakh are still part of Azerbaijan. Officiallly recognized as Azerbaijan's territority.

You said that how "we" can claim Karabakh when Azerbaijan was not a country before 1991, I proved you Azerbaijan was a country in 1918 and Karabakh was a part of it.

If we claimed the 1918 borders, then we would claim modern day southern and northeastern Armenia. But we don't, we just want what is ours, Karabakh, wich is officially a part of Azerbaijan.

Not that I don't support reunification of both above and belox Araxes under one Azerbaijan, but Azerbaijan have never voiced any such claims. If you take a look at "Greater" Armenia maps, they are including big parts of Iran. And they have it in their schools.

So that is totally absurd.

I admit not having read the whole thread, however, I think you also should pay attention to the recent history too as you expect others here. I clearly remember how Iran as a country was holding out hands when Azerbaijan was free and left by the Soviets. However, Iran's hand was bitten more than once since then and as such Iran paid more favoring attention to Armenia. It is no secret that both Azerbaijan and Armenia are historically and culturally very close. But what do you expect Iran to have done when consistently Iran's interests were not paid attention to. Even worse, Azerbaijan actively cooperated with Iranian enemies even in military and espionage spheres.

Perhaps a simple understanding on your side can be reached if you pay attention how pissed of you are at Iranian close cooperation with Armenia.

As an Iranian, I strongly believe that we must have very close relations with your country and Armenia. But if a party is working against your interests what else can be expected? What does your common sense tell you?

This event happened, afterward from what I remember. After the Azerbaijanis found Iran helping Armenia with electricity and food.
