Hey Everbody! for a last couple of hours.I was checking your forum out. Then i  bump into this here

When i was reading that and other milgem topics.i realised that Everybody though milgem is our first attemp to build stealt warship. Milgem's tecnology based on our first attemp to build Tf-2000 which was started late 90s (iam not sure but 1999 or 97)
but projected canceled because of the 2001 econmic crisis in Turkey. R&D of Milgem project was about 5 or 6 year not 3 years as everybody though in these forum.I just said these because Lots of people blamed Turkey taking help from US which would make this project meaningless. This is why we are making indeginous military projects just as Iran. We dont wanna depend on any country.
Ps1:
some information about first project.
here

Ps2: Now we have another projected called tf-2000 it is same project but it is add scheul again.

Milgem Project stated in mid-90s but two crisis and one major earthquake (in Turkey's mot industrialised area) happened to us. Due to economic boom in 2004, it started again and now, we succesfully passed the prototype phase. (F-511 TCG Heybeliada)

Milgem can be effective or not, it helped a lot to our naval industry. Because of global economic crisis, Turkish shipbuilding industry ,who ranked third in the world, heavily damaged. Military projects are the life kiss for them.

TF-2000 (Air Warfare Destroyer) and TF-100 (Multi-Purposes Frigate) are depending on success of Milgem Project. There are also plans to build a helicopter carrier and fitting with F-35Bs with them for future. I hope SEDEF/Navantia Team will acquire
LHD Project with Juan Carlos I.

This is absurd. With Milgem Project, Turkish Naval Industries gained so much capabilities:

For the weapon systems, we lack behind 1 or 2 years. Turkish Institues are developing torpedos(AKYA), anti-ship missiles(ATMACA) etc. They will integrated to Milgem when they finished.

For TF-2000, it will be 7000-tonnes AAW beast and for sure, it will be more complicated. And before project like this, we must develop some subsystem. For example, Multi-functional Phased Array Radar is now developing by Aselsan. Most probably, it will be a ship based on a western ship for Turkish demands. Like UAE did in Baynunah.
