I am confused. I don't speak Farsi, but did he talk about the "Sagheb" or the "Thaqeb" missile? the Sagheb, as I understand it, is a ship-borne air defence missile. The Thaqeb, on the other hand, is an anti-ship missile based on the Noor. Converting the Noor, or other anti-ship missile for ground attack missions is a creative way to sneak under the air-defence radars of an unsuspecting enemy. Iraq, for example, used the Chinese HY-2 converted for ground attack against targets in Kuwait during the USA invasion of 2003. It struck targets despite the Patriot and other defences arrayed all over Kuwait.
