Missile is based on Tow missile but instead of wire guided it is laser guided (like Kornet) therefore more range than Tow. It is compared to shoulder fired manpads that have speed of about 2.5 Mach which is more than necessary for helicopters and other slow moving targets. Its speed is 300 m/s which is more than the speed of Tow missiles.  It has a shaped charge which is good for penetrating Armor protected helicopters like the Apache.

Most probably a beam rider like the Kornet, given it has no visible laser seeker at the nose from the pic and also given that it is a relative cheap missile as stated in the article (cheaper than shoulder fired manpads)

Toofan 5 and Qaem Missiles: Production Startup
Defense Minister IRGC Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi inaugurated production lines for two new missiles on Saturday, Iranian television reported. Iran's defense industries will produce an anti-helicopter missile named the Qaem (Rising) and an anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) called the Toofan 5 (Storm).

The Qaem is designed to target helicopters at low and medium altitudes, and is reported to be laser guided.

"Toofan 5 is one of the most advanced missiles. It has two warheads which can destroy tanks and other armoured vehicles," Vahidi was quoted as saying by Fars news agency. He said the Qaem was a "missile which can destroy targets in the air travelling at low speed and at low altitude, especially assault helicopters."

The Toofan 5 is similar to the TOW-2A in appearance with additional forward positioned fins and reported laser guidance.

why didnt it distroy the tank and the tank is a t,55. are they not using a warhead in this test?

what is your definition of destroy? A tank is destroyed using an Anti-tank missile when a hole as little as the diameter of a pencil is penetrated through the armor and the hot molten metal from the shaped charge finds a way inside burning all the crew. From the video alone, No one can tell if it was penetrated or not!

Not just that but even if it didnt penetrate, (which i doubt) the noise of impact can blow ear drums so i remember sumone saying, also the fact of being knocked around.

In above footage Qaem's nose looks like Fiberglass Dome, optically transparent for Infrared Laser.

It means Qaem has Laser Designation Guidence. Laser Designation Guidence meens target has to be designated by Laser Beam and missile flies to bright Laser Dot on surface of target.

Qaem does not have "Beam Riding" Guidence.

Laser Designation Guidence is better since Missile Operator can track fast moving target without losing contact with missile (as in case of "Beam Riding").

I don't believe that's correct numbers, in all the high-quality imagery of both the Qaem and the Toofan there is no seeker to be seen. The Toofan-5 has a precursor probe while the Qaem has an opaque cover just like any other TOW or ATGM.

Qaem does have some sort of dome. Dome can be transparent for Infrared Laser.

The Qaem does indeed have a dome, it's just not transparent (it's probably fiberglass).
