Yes its a good thing, to defend trade buisness ships but its also a bad thing to move your army away from borders.

If anything did ever happen, there would be less warships to defend iranian sea's and if the enemy wanted to attack irans ships in the eden they are more open to attack because they will have no support from land.

The naval group that they are sending would be useless if there was ever a conflict, what will help us in the Persian Gulf will be our fast attack crafts and our submarines. By sending them away, we are gaining experience whilst showing the international community that we want peace and stability in the region. Also, the US would not be able to attack these ships if they are on a UN operation in the Gulf of Eden.

To my knowledge, they are not Noor but last remaining Harpoon missiles with their respective launchers.

Also, what significance does the slaughtering of sheep have? This is the second time i've seen it done before an operation, the first time being during a police op in Eastern Iran.
