When it comes to hacking, all you need is one exceptionally skilled hacker.

I believe Iran has many skilled hackers.

Turkey launched its first domestic built war ship Heybeliada. How this compares to Jamaran? Which is more advanced?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milgem_class_corvette

The design of the turkish ship looks more modern for me... And it seems they did it in a short time ( 3 years?)

its huge diffrent between made and assembly,I dont say wich one is better because I am not expert in navy ships but as Technician I can tell you Iranian use Iranian radar,Iranian missiles,Iranian fajr gun and even Iranian shaheed helicopter(copy of Huey) but what I saw on Turkish ship was gun was from Germany, missiles are from USA and Helicopter is Sykorsky(American again),I dont know what Radar they use but I am sure at the moment Turkey dont make radar so it must be foreign too ,so they bought components and assembly .
with Assembly you are still dependable on foreign spare parts and Technical help.

I wonder how much larger is Jamaran's RCS in comparison of this turkish ship, and is it very important?

Maybe this can be late, but i must correct something.

First of all, i can't understand how you guys compare Milgem with USS Freedom. If they are so advanced in this area, why are they selling its technology a 3rd (They are classifying us like this) world country? We heavily embargoed by US, then we realised importance of arms industry. Now, we are reaping what we sow.

Secondly, future is not in missiles nor nuclear, it is in unmanned systems. Even Russian's can't designed a MALE UAV, we designed it and flew it. (ANKA Class)

Cheers from Turkey.
Mehmet

what do you mean heavily embargoed  :o by US? you are a NATO member.. right?

Why would turkey need to buy Heron from Israel if they have a working MALE UAV?

I have read that Jamaran 2 is actually finished and undergoing testing. Also that jamaran-3 and jamaran-4 are under construction in khorramshahr and bandar-abbas?

Any truth to this?

After the Operation Atilla I and II (1974) US embargoed us. Mid 90s, Greece was weaponizing rapidly, we were in bad shape.

Do you know what is stop-gap? ANKAs are going to enter service in 14s, while we have terrorist threats.

Your welcome.

Yes, they delivered.

Turkey is more advanced than some of the EU Countries and Russia in the field of UAVs. Take a look:

I was comparing Germany with Turkey.

PLEASE don't do that!

You'll be a laughing stock of the forum if you do.  Turkey compared to Germany? Who in their right mind would do that?

In the field of UAVs, yes. Europe is a deindustrialising zone and European firms opening plants in China and some other cheap-workforce countries.

An example about that, 30 years ago Europeans were buying white goods and televisions from Italians and Germans. But now, the white goods market is dominating by two Turkish companies, Vestel and BEKO.

(Any European nation hasn't got MALE UAV Project,  btw)

In the field of UAVs, yes.

Last  time I heard Turkey was very keen in getting their hands on UAV technology developed by EADS.So how does that make Turkey "advanced" than Germany or for that matter Europe when it comes to UAVs ?

They're so super power with their drones that they have to use US donated drones to fight the PKK..The phones are ringing hot with lots of orders from all over the world for Turkey's super UAVs...
