And who exactly is stopping them from living in west. Not Iran.
If they can't get visa then why is that IRI fault? The Iranian government's duty is to provide a passport but not to get them visa.

Why should Iranians go to the West? Iranians with some brains and capital to buy a ticket think twice before going to countries where their cohorts turn towards drug addiction and low wage work. This is not 1950's when people thought West is a utopia.

The way to confront this ( and I think Iran should ) is using logic . FIFA has to show why it is against this dress ? On what ground ? Does it put any player at advantage or disadvantage ? Does it impair the hearing ( this can be demonstrated by tests) or restrict movement of limbs ( this can be demonstrated by tests) ? Is it a hazard to the safe play of the game ? If FIFA can not show good reason why , then it has no right to discriminate against Iran players .

Sometime ago , there was debate about if the man with blade - Runner legs should compete in olympics and not paralympics . This shows that the thinking on behalf of organisers is quite flexible and on this issue they are acting wrongly . I would also like to say that Iranian male football player can also wear old fashioned football leggings that are below the knee in support of their female colleagues . This old fashioned garb is also closer to Islamic teaching about man's garb to be below knee !

Athletes in running and in swimming are wearing all in one garbs . Swimmers these days wear performance enhancing all in one swimsuits ! Yet there is no objections ! Some runners wear all in one suits that covers head ! Yet no objections !!!!!

well if they dont like religon and religous laws why should they stayt then it is not like they can make a change in iran.

OK , so situation is not so bad . They allowed some form of head dress in 2010 . So they argue over safety . Surely coverings can be made that do not allow for chocking injury . Such as velcro fastening or semi-rigid fastening or perishable material under load like strong tissue paper fastening or multi-part , segmented fastening............

Also they are still discriminating against Iran , if they allow people with different hair styles like Rastafarian hair , Mohawk hair or tatoo on head , arm or body . These all could be argued have religious importance or political importance .

Nomad don't waste your time trying to reason about this headscarve ban. I assure you it has nothing to do with choking or any of that rubbish.This has everything to do with hating Islam. This choking is just a pretext or smoke screen.

Thats bullshit, because having long hair is just ad dangerous if a player decides to pull it. Matter of fact, by covering your hair it makes it less dangerous.
