The word "Balcony" is interesting to me because it is a combination of "balah" and "khooneh."
Balah = above or upper
Khooneh = house

Balcony is balah + khooneh, or "above house."

Couple of Finnish words that I have noticed to bear obvious connection to Iranic languages..

An example Sad (Persian) =100, Cento=200 (Italian)...Cent=100 (French),....regarding Maras it may be linked to Latin languages. Maraz in Persian means sickness and Marg (death)..... Italian La Maladia (illness), and Morte (Italian)...Mort (French) and all the words derivating from it "Morbido"(morbid)....

Maraz is Arabic not Persian.

Wrong. The word is of old (Indo)Aryan origin, not Semitic. It is many of the words of Aryan origin that are still used in many Eurasian languages.

The word "mort" in Latin is connected to so called proto Indo-European language together with at least Slavic, Celtic and Germanic versions of the same word.. TBH: I do not know if Persian word is too, but it looks similar indeed and the connections have been strong elsewhere so I think that it is likely. Finnish word "marras" is of Aryan origin for sure though.

Indeed, Syrians still use Bimarestan to designate a hospital. In the middle psychiatric hospitals were also called "Bimarestan".

Very interesting. Bimarestan is the term for hospital. I want to add, mareezkhaneh is common also especially amongst the older population.

But now when we are at it; what would you like to talk about when dealing with linguistics and old Eurasian languages? I have myself noted, that the old connections between Fenno-Ugric languages and Indo-Aryan languages are very interesting. In case of Hungarian there are close to ten layers of those while, for obvious reasons, in Finnic languages less and many via Eastern Slavs...
