I am not at all a fan of Amanpour. She has always failed me in my expectations for many many reasons. However, if there is a "once in a while" good reporting from her it must be this one. The interviewees are very credible for the US public such as Anthony Cordsman who is famous for his "Expert Military Advice" in various shows specially on CNN. In fact, he is probably the most quuoted man in the media in military matters. His views here are surprise to me. I hear from this interview what Not only I have been saying is happening in world stage in regards to Iran but also many others here, we can now here "our common views" on prime time US TV!

What do we really know about the Iranian nuclear threat?  Iran says it wants the right to have its peaceful nuclear program formally recognized.  But from the outside, Iran has long given the impression it has something to hide.  And fear that Iran may soon have the capability to build a nuclear weapon, has spurred talk of a need to take action, even suggestions of a pre-emptive strike against Iran by Israel or the United States.  But is that fear based on fact?

One of the few good reports from the western point of view, Thanks for posting it.

What is good about it? Why are you getting excited about a person who has not been subjective in the past? This program places the burden of proof on Iran one more time. And that is ridiculous. Proving of intentions is nothing new and is the continuation of baseless claims. Let’s assume that even if Iran goes extra mile, do you guys really believe that the Zionist driven policies of Yanks will ever be changed? We have seen what they did when Iran suspended the program. They got more encouraged and demanded more. The fact of matter is that they want total control and submission of the most strategic place on earth. The rest is just the hue and cry serving as tactical way of achieving that.

You missed the point! There was no intention to praise Amanpour. The interesting part of the new language of the interviewees which is similar to what believe here at IMF and opposite to the typical US mainstream media.

Further, I am not so sure if you did watch the videos before you jumped into conclusion. The message of the interview was exactly what you mentioned "there will be no change of attitude by the USraelis even if Iran gives in to nuclear demands"- period!

You can doubt whatever that you want as it does not change the fact that I watched the clips, and then I made the comment. If I wanted to jump the gun I would be as prolific as some of members here. I just voiced my opinion.

But at least you are agreeing on the point of Iran's successive concessions with no end in sight.
