Dr. Abbasi is loved by all here, except for some characters who have a bad habit of attacking him and putting his speeches down - posts by these individuals are best ignored.

If you're referring to me, please grow up. One can criticize a professional without being an attacker. His pseudo-scholarly analysis of films and media are often lacking. He did a much better job analysing politics and current events and, in my opinion, he should stick to that field. It saddens me that this forum has turned into an arena of yea-sayers and conformists. What is even the point of partaking in a discussion forum if one is to ignore other views?

They are philosophical analysis, not scholarly. If you consider his philosophy, pseudo-scholar, then you need to bring arguments forth not just an accusation which is baseless.

This is exactly what he does. He uses scientific rhetoric but fails to present any proof. I have pointed out some of his false claims previously.

...and he draws his philosophical perspective from? As I said, he analyses films and media through various theoretical lenses in a manner that is often flawed. He makes very strong claims on everything from philosophy and psychology to quantum physics. Most of the time they are not based on facts and a quick search will prove them wrong.

Anyway, I didn't want to make any comments in this thread since Kiarash has made an effort uploading the videos but the childish accusations need to stop. So what, I don't like his analysis all the time, go back and play with toys if you cant handle some criticism. I doubt even Abbasi's mother is as protective of him as some of you are...
