In this report they picture what will happen if Iran do the same thing that Israel is threaten to do, such as targeting the nuclear installations.

Missile strikes against Dimona and Israeli
population centers. Iran would likely respond       
almost immediately with missile strikes on Israel,   
to punish it and deter follow-on strikes. Whether   
or not the regime’s missiles are sufficiently accu- 
rate to threaten the Israeli reactor at Dimona, the 
nuclear site will remain an attractive—albeit sym-   
bolic—target (as it was for Iraq in 1991).8         
                                                     

i dont know what it is ... but iranian military has something in it ... u see them live with ur eyes , or in vids or pics ... there is something that makes u feel that these guys would never be defeated ... like they r born to win ...

u have high tech Russians , high quantity chinese , similar force turkiye ( power wise ) etc  ... but they all  lack that thing which iranian soldiers have ...  may be its the religious factor .. the will to sacrifice all in name of faith ...

A harsh riposte.

Although the possibility of a
limited Iranian response to a limited Israeli attack
cannot be ruled out, Tehran would probably want
to make retaliation as painful as possible for Israel
in order to deter follow-on strikes and U.S. inter-
vention. To this end, it would likely employ both
direct and indirect measures.

The report shows that even before the war is started, they are very afraid of Iran's retaliations.  Allah the all mighty instigate fears in the hearth of oppressors, no mater how much weapons they have.
