Israel is flexing its muscles this week and not hiding behind other countries for the first time in a while. Because of that, it looks like an attack on Iran is going to happen, but at what price? The United States and Great Britain have said it's a bad idea, so if the Israelis decide to, let them do it alone. There is no need for Washington to give them money or support. Enough of the American taxpayer money goes to support them as it is anyway.
Netanyahu thinks that Iran is a threat to world peace, and many people would defend the Iranian nuclear program. However, if this is the decision of the politicians in Jerusalem, then whatever happens to them will be their own fault. Their complaint is that the Iranians were trying to kill their men in Thailand, yet the Mossad does the same exact thing in Iran and other countries. It's pure hypocrisy and anyone who knows anything about world politics knows that.
If the country does attack Iran, it will be difficult. Iran's nuclear bases are scattered all over the country, and some are underground. If they do attack, a few Arab countries will be there to help them and further threaten the existence of the Jewish State, which many in the area see as something that shouldn't be there. Aside from that, Iran is able to cut off a large supply of the world's oil, thus causing chaos for many European countries as well as the United States.
The ball is in Netanyahu's court. The world will just have to wait to see what he does with it. One thing is more than clear: The world doesn't need another war!
